MANDALA SHARING
I so miss the mandala making workshops and gatherings.  The sharing of creativity that takes place in my small studio guides me and others to a deep safe creative place. Unfortunately, the intimate space of my studio isn’t a place for sharing creativity right now. Fortunately I receive email and text photos of mandalas made at home, found on walks and created outside.

This COVID-19 mandala shows the corona virus, healthy lungs, walking into the beauty of spring flowers and healing by artist Nancy Kibens.

Christine found this pine cone and nature gifts mandala on a walk in nature. Someone has created it and left it for other to enjoy.

She also drew the mandala beauty of a daffodil

During a recent walk in Forest Park, I created this mandala of blooming willow branches and wild flowers.

I love to share the creativity of other mandala makers. Please let me know if you have mandala images to share.

FREE DOWNLOADS #3
This blog post is part 3, and the last of mandala coloring downloads from Mandalas Every Day Coloring Book for Children & Adults.  Instructions* and notes** about printing the PDFs, sending via the internet or snail mail are at the end of this blog.

There are 12 downloads in this blog. There are two PDF pages for each design, one large design and 4 of the same design on a second page. To download the other 8 PDFs go to this blog post and this one

I experimented with art papers in my inexpensive ink jet printer. I cut or tore the papers to 8.5×11 inches to fit the printer. Both Arches Text Wove paper and 90 lb multi media paper worked well. The ink of the printed mandala lines did not bleed with watercolors.

Enjoy coloring and playing with colors.  Colored pencils, crayons and watercolors were all used to color these mandalas.

Let these mandalas in this blog and the ones you color bring relaxation, enjoyment, calm and healing.

Stay well. Stay safe.

*These PDFs are sized for 8.5×11 sheets of paper. Regular printer paper works with crayons, colored pencils, markers and oil pastels. Watercolors work best with heavier paper, like cardstock. Most printers will print 65 lb. cardstock paper, Arches Text Wove and 90 lb. multi-media paper.

Take a photo of what you create and send via the internet. If printed on card stock, the paper is heavy enough to be cut into postcards and send via snail mail. This info from the USPS: As long as your postcard is not larger that 4¼″ x 6″ (but at least 3½″ x 5″) you can mail them at the 34¢ rate.

Send what you create (via snail mail or internet) to family, friends and others who could use a bit of beauty in these trying times. Send especially to the heroes who are working to keep others alive and healthy and those working in their jobs to keep our world going.
