July 10th, 2017
A sacred circle of creativity is a nurturing safe embracing place where a deep connection with our own personal truths and source is opened and expressed.

A sacred circle of creativity can surround us as we create individually or with others.
Watercolor Mandala Blues – Ann Brune
It is created with a centering of intention and opening to creative spirit. It surrounds us in a mandala of wholeness and centering.

I am so fortunate that a sacred circle of creativity is part of my life each time I am joined by the artists (who often don’t claim this title but are) who create with me in my workshops and mandala circles.

We create our sacred circles with intention, opening with a guided meditation and working in silence with music in the background.

We play with papers, paints, inks and other materials that dance with us as images and words are put onto surfaces that reveal expressions from deep within.

It is always a surprise to those creating what comes into being from creative source within. We create with beginner’s mind, no judgment , no right or wrong.
Butterfly Mandala – Nancy Storm
At the end of our time creating, several hours or sometimes days, we share our images and words. We are united in a safe and nurturing space where our hearts are opened and deep.
Inspirations Mandala – Martha Schermann
Most often we create mandalas. Mandalas that are shared at the end of our time together. Sometimes I receive texts and emails with mandalas made from and in nature.
Christine Torlina – Turnip Mandala
Or I receive via the internet beautiful mandalas made far away, like these made by Christine’s Grandkids in California.

Other images besides mandalas are often created during our sacred circle of creativity.

I am so grateful I can share some of these creative expressions from recent Monthly Mandala Circles. Thank you artists for sharing.
I am working on the details of my three day workshop October 12, 13, & 14 titled A Sacred Circle of Creativity – Mother Earth, Mandalas, Meditation and Words. It will be a time of deep creative immersion and connection to nature. I can’t wait. Here are more details.
