Creativity for the Soul

Blog

Welcome to my blog. My work and life are my play and passion. It is a crazy quilt of creativity for the soul that is meant to inspire, transform and heal through gardens, art and work with the sacred. I work and play in gardens, garden design, garden writing, mandala art, art journaling, photography, classes and workshops, pottery, meditation, meditation teaching, sustainability and sacred space. I share my life with my husband, sons, daughters-in-laws, grandchildren, friends, clients and students.

Twelve Days of Christmas

Happy Holidays. The artist is Hawley Wright.  The postcards are from the greeting card company I created called Wild Rice Cards, based in Minneapolis in the 1980s.  The twelve days of Christmas start on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, depending. Whatever your celebration this time of year, have a wonderful holiday.

The Joy of Snail Mail – Handmade Envelopes

Personal snail mail is a joy to send and receive, especially if there is a colorful handmade envelope made from paper that would normally be thrown in the recycling bin.  This week I got to make envelopes for thank you notes for my very special book group friends.  We exchanged gifts last weekend.  On Monday […]
