Creativity for the Soul

Blog

Welcome to my blog. My work and life are my play and passion. It is a crazy quilt of creativity for the soul that is meant to inspire, transform and heal through gardens, art and work with the sacred. I work and play in gardens, garden design, garden writing, mandala art, art journaling, photography, classes and workshops, pottery, meditation, meditation teaching, sustainability and sacred space. I share my life with my husband, sons, daughters-in-laws, grandchildren, friends, clients and students.

Remembering Ukraine, Nature, Chi, Serenity & Flowers

Remembering Ukraine, Nature, Chi, Serenity & Flowers The cold dark night of our last mandala circle was filled with warmth and creativity. Remembering and diverse creativity emerged.  The sense of play and deep connection with inner creativity always fills our hearts and the space. We mainly play and explore with watercolors along with acrylic ink, […]

In Each Moment Reimagining a Life Filled Future.

In each moment reimagining a life filled future.  For 2023 I have no resolutions of the usual kind. No long lists of things to do or be. Only a reimagining and imagining of a life-filled planet that I work for and walk into. Imagining through expanded open heart. Each moment a journey into that future. […]

Garden Guided Meditation – Real & Imagined

GARDEN GUIDED MEDITATION – Real & Imagined  September is my favorite garden month. The gardens are lush with flowers and foliage and mostly on their own. There is some weeding here and there, but it’s too late to plant for this growing season, too early for fall planting. It’s a month of rest. There is […]

The Power of Light – Dragonflies & Summer Solstice

The Power of Light – Dragonflies & Summer Solstice Dragonflies were playful and plentiful during a nature hike that Christine T. had before our evening mandala circle in late May. These beings of iridescent wings symbolize and embody the power of light. Christine’s encounters with them inspired her mandala. Christine’s mandala made with iridescent watercolor […]
