A Drawing, Design or Doodle a Day – Week 3
This is week 3 of a creativity adventure titled “A Drawing, Design or Doodle a Day”

The week began with a mandala circle at my home studio. The sharing and checking in we did before the guided meditation and time for creativity brought up my bee hive in the nearby garden and a poem by Emily Dickinson titled To Make A Prairie.
I created a folded page that becomes a self-contained letter that can be tucked into itself or sealed with wax.
Here is my creation honoring bees, clover and revery. Revery is a word not often used. One definition is an imaginative state. Perhaps we all need revery to imagine and be inspired to create a prairie and a better world.

I also watched the small sunflowers in my garden burst into blooming florets as each small flower/floret bloomed releasing pollen from the outside to the center.
And the mandala doodles I love to make. It calms me and puts me in a state of flow.
These are the drawings, designs or doddles from day 5 to day 12 and some background info not shared on the daily postings of these images on Instagram – here’s the link.
Here is a guided meditation for inspiration on your creative journey.
